I gained a new sense of appreciation for other cultures and a deeper understanding of the Danish way of life. Being enrolled in the Danish Language and Culture Class helped me understand how Denmark developed into its current state.

Living with a host family definitely allows you to meet a lot of local people and learn about the culture. |

Extremely accessible healthcare. I do know some students that struggled with healthcare before getting their health cards, but I believe DIS reimbursed those students. |

Copenhagen is definitely an expensive city, but living with a host family helped cover cost of food and living. I spent the most on personal travel. |
