What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I traveled a lot an got to experience living independently, like living alone and cooking for myself and budgeting. Overall I have a new sense of the world and lifestyles.

None provided through the program, very expensive to eat in Copenhagen (groceries and restaurants).

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

DIS allows you to travel around very easily and frequently because of travel weeks off, travel with classes, and the possibility to create a schedule without Friday classes. It requires a lot of independent planning which can be stressful, however.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Shop at Netto, cook for yourself, don't buy drinks at clubs.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The program is very large now so many people stay with the groups of kids who come from their same home school. Most people travel almost every weekend which makes it hard to meet people besides the people you live with.
