It was! I learned that people really do operate differently in different cultures. In Denmark, emotions are something very personal. It’s weird to say how are you to someone, even a friend.

No
I think I’d go somewhere more exotic. Danish people are also gerrrry hard to get to know well, very reserved. Norway tho, definitely visit Norway, most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Go hiking. See fjords. DIS administration was often poor. They messed up too much. |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Unsure but a lot. Denmark is extremely expensive. The cheapest towel I could find was like fifteen USD. |
