What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It made me realize I want to have a international career - 100% worthwhile. Really gave a whole new dimension to my life.

DIS takes care of you - they set you up in a nice place, pay for your food mostly, and are there if you need anything. They don't just drop you in Denmark and say have fun, they make sure they are adding to your experience.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Cope is expensive

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I used the stipend. So if I wasn't grocery shopping, and I went out to eat, then about 50 dollars a week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't buy lunch

Comments: Challenging but didn't learn a ton. Projects felt impossible, not a lot of help available. The robots were cool. Thomas was really nice but kinda a boring lecturer.

Comments: Challenging due to new material. Field Trips were excellent. Daniel is a phenomenal teacher. Participated way more than at home.

Comments: Not very challenging, but very interesting. I actually bring this course up often in interviews. Teacher shares lots of 'real world' stories.
