I learned that there are so many different social models that are successful and that the US world view of politics is very narrow. I also realized how Americans are perceived abroad and why there is a negative reputation.

No
I loved Denmark and I think at that time in my life it was ideal to study there. But if given the chance to do it over I would have chosen to study in a country that I had visited like Spain or Portugal only due to the prices and the weather. I enjoyed traveling and maybe this also resulted in my impression of the places I had visited being biased. I loved my housing mates and Copenhagen and this is only me being picky retrospectively. As they say hindsight is always 20/20. |
