My experience abroad was definitely worth while. I gained a lot of independence and cultural insight.

Food was our responsibility, but the grocery stipend was very helpful.

DIS was a lot of fun. All of the professors are very helpful and understanding and I enjoyed how they got us out of the classroom and out into both Copenhagen and Europe on different trips. I really like the travel was built into the program.

Copenhagen is very expensive, especially if you travel on your own.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? eat in as much as possible and try to find the cheapest ways to travel (probably easiest if you don’t have class on either Fridays or Mondays)
