DIS Copenhagen - Fun and Surprisingly Educational June 02, 2024
By A student (Computer Science, Brandeis University) - abroad from 01/13/2024 to 05/11/2024 with
DIS Copenhagen: Semester
I needed a break from the routine and rigor of school in the US, but I like to learn and still wanted a somewhat educational experience -- I got exactly that. DIS let me keep learning interesting stuff but not be stressed about workload.

Some courses are significantly more rigorous than others, though all are less intense than courses at home in the US. All courses have more than enough resources available for students to succeed. Comments: | This course was particularly awesome -- the lectures were super engaging and exceptionally well designed; the class has some tough concepts but they're explained in a way everyone could understand. The class had lots of (optional) opportunities to dig deeper on your own time, meaning you learn about a wide range of subjects but work really hard only at the stuff you find most exciting. Study tours were a ton of fun and the meetings with professionals in the field were overall quite interesting. |
