Planes and Trains and Danes July 12, 2024
By A student (Political Science, History, Middlebury College) - abroad from 01/13/2024 to 05/06/2024 with
DIS Copenhagen: Semester
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I think most of what I learned was personal. For example, I really learned a lot about settling in and a new and unfamiliar place and trying to meet new people and making new friends, as well as trying to peacefully coexist with people that I do not necessarily get along with. It was absolutely worthwhile and will help me in life.

Individual Course Reviews
Course Name/Rating: |
European Game of Politics: Crisis and Survival |
Course Department: | Political Science |
Instructor: | Milosz Jeromin Cordes |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | The course materials and readings were extremely interesting and engaging, and the professor was both extremely knowledgeable and excited to share his passion with students. We were largely assessed based on our engagement and effort put into the class, rather than correctness as the professor wanted to make mistakes because he thought that would be the best way to learn. We took several fantastic field trips that greatly furthered what we had been discussing in our classes. |
Credit Transfer Issues: | I have not yet transferred my credits, but I do not anticipate any issues. |
