I learned how to be more self-sufficient in numerous ways. I also had to overcome many struggles I had never experienced in America, such as pickpocketing, which I think will benefit my maturation.

Overall, the educational experience was great. The workload felt easily manageable and relevant to the courses and professors were easy to talk to. |

The housing arrangements were nice, but I felt that the roommate matching was subpar. |

Food was not provided by the program but dorms had kitchens and students are given stipend cards for groceries, etc. |

As someone with food allergies, I found the local culture around food allergies was generally unsupportive and almost unaware of the severity- which I experienced from both medical professionals as well as certain professors. |
