What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile. I learned a lot about self care and enjoying alone time but I also learned how to put myself out there and make genuine friendships. Budgeting was another big skill I learned that I will carry with me.

I loved the program but Copenhagen in the spring was cold and barely sunny so I would consider another sunny program if it had everything DIS offered.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Plan travels early so that you get the cheapest flight options. Buy groceries that you need and know will finish to minimize food waste.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how expensive of a city Copenhagen was. I also wish I stretched out the money I brought with me.
