A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • constant student support
* What could be improved?
  • better policies to prevent students AND professors from using generative AI
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? By doing a homestay, volunteering with a local organization, and doing a teaching practicum, I was much, much more more immersed in the culture than the vast majority of my classmates who could go days without interacting with a non-American (except in a customer service context)

The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
