What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worthwhile. I learned the basics of a new language, a new culture that I was living in the center of, and made many friends easily as we were all doing the same thing and pushing ourselves to learn and experience as much as possible.

Learned a lot about a country that is very different from the United States, and made many connections that I will have forever. The program included travel to other countries, which added more cultural contexts to the experience.
