Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
All the professors were very clear and helpful. I think their teaching approaches made the course interesting, and it allowed the classroom to feel like a safe space. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The administration was very helpful and always willing to help. |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I loved my living space. I was able to interact with other students also abroad from different programs and educational levels. |
| * Food: |
It was a learning curve looking for places to shop. Specially those that had ingredients I would use in day to day meals. However, I had stipend card for food that allowed shopping for groceries to be accessible. |

| * Safety: |
I lived in very safe area, and overall even when going outside of it I always dealt safe. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
I always had support, as a flip student I was very afraid I wouldn't have that away from my institution.However it allowed me to have security and balance life and education for once. This brought me so much joy. |
Finances
|
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
It was expensive sometimes, but you just have to learn to manage your budgeting. |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 5000 |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Set up weekly budgets. It can be very exciting to go out alot and splurge all in one week at the beginning, but truly that's what gets you to have problems later. |
Language
| * Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
|

Reasons For Studying Abroad
| To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
