Your professors are there to teach you, but also to make sure you have a good and rewarding experience. There is minimal homework but tons of learning. Although the homework load is not excessive your professors are constantly challenging you to think and use what's all around you- another culture- to learn.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in a Kolegium, which is the Danish version of student housing. I had my own room and bathroom, and shared a communal kitchen with the whole floor. It was a short metro ride or 40 minute walk from school, I chose to walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery and lakes that were only a few blocks from my Kolegium.

Danish food is delicious! I ate at the same restaurant every day for lunch. After All, Copenhagen currently has the number one restaurant in the world, taking an entire 3 months on the waiting list just to get a reservation!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Copenhagen is a vibrant city with so much to offer. All I had to do was step out of the classroom and into the streets to kind something exciting happening in the summer months.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Denmark is one of the safest countries in the world, and I felt totally comfortable walking around at all times of the day. It was actually fun and exciting wondering around downtown at night, you were always likely to make new friends or have interesting conversations with the locals, who are all friendly people willing to help you out with directions when you get lost.
