Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I believe some of the academic expectations were unrealistic, however, I feel that I learned a lot in both classes. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Wonderful!! |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Absolutely perfect! We were in the heart of downtown. |
* Food: |
Most of the food we provided for ourselves. I can't cook very well, so it was subpar. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
With most of the Danes speaking great English, it was easy to meet them and learn about their culture. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt safer in Copenhagen than at my own University. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
It was so easy to make Cope feel like home. The people are so friendly and the culture was so fun. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Having class for so long every day forced me to eat out for lunch, which is kinda expensive. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $250 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | The bars are very expensive, it's fun to go out. But it's a lot cheaper in other countries. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
