Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

A few of my classes were fun in topics, but overall it was not very academic challenging.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

DIS is a very structured program targeting college students studying in America. The program has a strong support network system in terms of academic and wellbeing counseling. It also provides help with housing and other misc issues.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in an apartment with two other people at a kollegium. I was lucky to have my own room and the building was recently renovated.

* Food:

I had to cook on my own, but a part of your tuition will be money in your grocery card.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

You get free healthcare per Danish law, and DIS has a health care team that will help you with scheduling appointments. I personally didn't utilize them.

* Safety:

Copenhagen is really safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
