Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload was equivalent to the load from UNL. However, they focuses on hand crafted models and presentations, while UNL uses the computer-aided designs more. The grading was difficult. They give most of the class barely passing grades, with only a few higher grades. Usually about 25% of the class fails each project. It seems more common to fail out of classes in this university. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The support systems prior to arrival were bad, but during the experience they were great. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived with a fellow student from Nebraska, and also two local Irish students. It was near college and turned out to be a great fit for me. |
* Food: |
The food was similar to Nebraska, less processed. I enjoyed the food. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The culture was loud and fun. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt safe in Ireland. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
