The English and History Coursework proved challenging but rewarding. It takes a bit of a different frame of mind when all assignments are due at the end of the term as opposed to throughout. |

The International Office is both friendly and helpful. There is always someone there willing to help. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The dorm rooms were meager but acceptable for a few months stay. |

A great variety of options with a flexible meal plan. Much better than my home institution. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The students were friendly and inviting. They were without a doubt the best part of the time abroad and there was never a shortage of things to do. |

* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I had no experiences with healthcare, so overall this was not an issue. |
| * Safety: |
There was never a time wherever I went that I felt like I was in any sort of danger. Ormskirk is a lovely village with little trouble and Liverpool was a bustling city that was safe and open to all. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |

At the end of it all, it turns out the costs of studying at Edge Hill were less than the cost of studying at Presbyterian. |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Only about 20 pounds, most of it was spent at pubs and varying types of cuisine. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | If you're going to travel, travel with other people so as to minimize costs. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Everything is going to be due at the end of the semester, and some of it will be things due in January for everyone else. Don't overdo your work and miss out on experiencing the people and culture but also pace yourself in getting the work done. |

The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |
