Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The professors here are the best I've ever had - even better than at home. They are so passionate about everything they do and really enjoy the teaching.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Some things are frustrating, like rules concerning travel and how much extra you have to pay for laundry and transportation and you're already paying so much to be here. Make sure you save your money before you get here.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Both could be better, but it's really easy to get around.

* Food:

The meals are catered by a local restaurant, and the owner, Nellie, is the sweetest woman ever!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

TRAVEL every weekend if you're going to be here!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

Not at all! There are no Dutch courses offered, but everyone in town speaks English, so we didn't have a chance to learn.
