ABSOLUTELY worthwhile! Being a political comm. major I need to know about the world and I think seeing the world is important and through this program I got to see so many different places and learn about a TOTALLY different culture! I cannot express how amazing it truly was!

Very Good! I took some of the best classes I have ever taken at Emerson at the Castle! The professors were much stricter which I would say definitely encouraged me to learn more and be more engaged! |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
It was great staying in a castle, with the class rooms right down stairs, that aspect made it much easier to get up and go to classes in the morning. |

the kitchen staff is amazing and I loved them but after a couple weeks the same foods did get very old. I can't eat another boiled potato or piece of broccoli probably for a very long time |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
My favorite field trip we did was probably going to the TBS facility with Chester Lee's intercultural communications class! That was such a unique experience and I will remember it forever! All of the excursions were great I just wished that we maybe had one closer to the end of our stay because at that point we were all much more connected to the staff and I think it would have been fun to take one last trip all of us together! |

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | DO IT! Whether you can take one of your major courses or not the Castle program is amazing! I did not regret a SINGLE moment I spent there and I learned so much, met so many amazing people and got to visit a dozen different countries. I did things people can only dream of during my time at the castle. I took no courses for my major and yet I learned so MUCH from the courses I did take that can help me with my major and my future!! |
