What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

It was a wonderful learning oppurtunity in which I discovered a city and learned a lot about myself. I enjoyed my internship and my classes. The people were good to me and I met a lot on inspiring and artistic individuals. Overall it was very worthwhile.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.	Classes were well taught and not as "puffy" as I might have expected. I was pleased to find that good school work was expected and rewarded.
* Host Country Program Administration On-site administration of your program	There was some difficulty contacting administrators early on in the process.
* Housing: How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?	The Oakwoods are very nice, the people who live there leave a few things to be desired.
* Food:	Good food.
* Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture?	L.A. is full of excited, interesting people and they all want you to know about it.
* Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program?
* Safety:	There were a few robberies that I heard about, but overall I felt safe.
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program?	No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
