Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I never received back any of my assignments so I never knew if I was doing well in the class or not.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Overall it was great! I wish I was given a bit more detailed information earlier. But once I was over there it all ran smoothly

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Buy at markets and cook yourself to save money.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Wine tasting in Bordeaux, Chocolate tasting in Belgium, and champagne tasting in Champagne

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

As long as you are smart you will be fine. Just be aware of your surroundings

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? around 100-150 euro for groceries, shopping, and going out. I also traveled to 8 other countries while I was over there and each place I went I would spend around 250-300 per place for transportation, food, and stay
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? just save up as much as you can because you don't want to hold yourself back from any opportunities to travel once you are over there.

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
