About
Escuela Entrelenguas is excited to announce our newest summer study abroad program for U.S. college students who have completed a minimum of 200-level Spanish language instruction. Entrelenguas is a Spanish language school in the charming Andalusian city of Ronda, Spain. Our school caters to a wide variety of local and international students with an interest in excellent language instruction and true cultural immersion. Our teachers are highly qualified and approachable, and we are proud to serve as community gathering place for our quaint, bustling town.
We have designed a comprehensive, thoughtful itinerary focusing on students’ authentic engagement with the local people of Ronda. The program, “Community Immersion in Southern Spain: A US College Student Summer Program” includes:
• Intensive Spanish language classes 3 hours per day (45 hours in total) taught by native and qualified professors with extensive experience teaching Spanish to non-native speakers;
• Lodging with warm, welcoming local host families who will provide three meals per day to students. Families have been carefully selected and have been working with Entrelenguas since its inception;
• Community service with local organizations promoting values of environmental, cultural and environmental sustainability;
• Social and culturally immersive activities with local Rondeños such as tapas exchange evenings, soccer games, and hiking with local outdoors organizations;
• Excursions to the Andalusian cities of Tarifa, Granada, Córdoba and the Pueblos Blancos.
