I learned how to better live on my own and the ability to adapt easier to unfamiliar or uncomfortable situations. This semester has been such a life-changing experience!

I have never once felt uncomfortable while walking around at night. Heidelberg is extremely safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Europe is much more expensive than the US and this does not help the average college student and his or her budget

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to take out larger amounts of cash when you hit the ATM to avoid repeated fees

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have known that it gets colder much sooner than it does in America and more information about the Heidelberg program before the students leave home
