Learned more about the Heidelberg community and the current "refugee crisis." I was able to go volunteer and meet members of organizations that work to help local community members as well as refugees and immigrants.

  • nice staff
  • fun professors
  • amount of free time on the weekends
* What could be improved?
  • not paying for laundry tokens since we already pay so much to actually come here
  • more encouragement of the students to learn more about the Heidelberg community, not just the history, but the people
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The actual amount of money I would have needed. I saved enough for the trips I planned, plus extra cash to spend eating and going out, but it was a lot more than what the study abroad program suggested to bring.
