What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This was worthwhile, i have gained so much travel experience that would have taken me years to acquire if I had not gone abroad.

The course are challenging and offer a great deal of information and resources to broaden the learning experience.

The administration is very accommodating an try their best to offer up the necessary resources to be able to adapt to a new way of life.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Everything I needed was provided for me and if something was missing the staff did their best to fill requests.

* Food:

The grocery stores are easy to navigate and the local restaurants are always happy to welcome students.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Seminars were offered for students to attend to help us be able to identify and adapt to cultural differences.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

N/A

* Safety:

Heidelberg is an extremely safe city, however, the building is not as secure as one would hope. It is very easy to access the dorm floors (a key card is not needed)

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I made amazing life long friends and gained a plethora of skills that i would not have acquired in the states.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 50-70 Euros
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It is recommended to have at least 1500 for each month (that is more than necessary, but you don't need to worry about money then)
