I will never forget it and I recommend it to any person wanting to study abroad, especially in Germany because of the low cost for the program.

My room was pretty big and it was nice to live with a few other people

For my particular diet it was harder to find food that I could eat in a small town like Frankfurt Oder

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I wish I had brushed up on my German more before going, because not as many locals in eastern Germany know enough English to communicate with you

I felt much safer in Frankfurt Oder than my home city in the U.S.

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals.
