Our boutique Spanish immersion summer camp welcomes international students to La Fortuna, one of Costa Rica’s most iconic destinations, known for its lush rainforest, rich biodiversity, and strong national commitment to sustainability. This peaceful, nature-filled town at the base of the Arenal Volcano offers a unique environment where students can explore, learn, and thrive.
With dynamic Spanish classes, sustainability-focused workshops, and exciting evening activities, our teenage students enjoy the perfect balance of education, adventure, and environmental awareness. Campers leave with stronger language skills, a deeper understanding of ecological values, new friendships from around the world, and unforgettable memories of their Pura Vida summer.

Expanish Scholarships
Expanish has a commitment to increase study abroad opportunities and make the experience more accesible to all students, Expanish is proud to offer 5 US$ 1,000 scholarships to be used to help students cover costs for Expanish programs in any of our locations.

Deadlines:
Applications are due February 1 each year
Decisions will be made March 1 each year
Successful applicants will have one year to make use of their scholarship
Guidelines/Requirements:
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the program.
Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA at the time of the application.
Applicants must be enrolled in a University or College at the time of their program, either in the undergraduate or graduate level.
Applicants must plan to use their scholarship for an Intensive Month or longer program.
Successful applicants will be required to write 1 to 4 guest blog posts detailing their experience, depending on program length, and as such must demonstrate a high level of proficiency with the English language.
