What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to be independent and self-reliant. I learned how to make worthwhile friendships in a short amount of time. Study abroad was my most worthwhile college experience to date.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Go to shops and restaurants that are not often visited by Americans/English speakers. Travel to places that are not typical tourist spots. Then you'll be forced to speak Italian. Visit relatives if you have them, often times they don't speak English and you'll be forced to use the language |
