Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Everyone says studying abroad is a joke but I actually found some of the classes I took to be challenging. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Unorganized at times. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
There some things to get used to, small uncomfortable bed, small kitchens, quick showers with not much hot water, but it did not hinder my experience. |
* Food: |
All of the food was amazing |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Taking a field trip to sicily was deff a great experience even though we experienced bad weather, the administrators did there best and showed us a great time, still allowing us freedom while we were there. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Extremely safe city |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Language
* Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
Language acquisition improvement? |

A Look Back
* What did you like most about the program? |
|
* What could be improved? |
|
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Try not to cling to other American students you abroad with, meet the locals, let me them show you all the spots that aren't tourist attractions, the most authentic food, and your experience will be 10x better then just following a list of someone who has previously studied abroad in the same city. |
