What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was able to gain a solid understanding of how other cultures acted and simply viewed things. Mainly from the kids I was traveling with I was able to learn about their view and cultural normals.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I feel that with all the traveling and site seeing the work load was extremely adequate. The professors definitely knew what they were talking about.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

There are plenty of places for vegetarians. I'll eat anything so there was no problem. For the kids who were picky or couldn't eat certain food were able to work around it.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I loved how in between our class we had a required group discussion about International IQ. This included learning about the European union. Geography of Europe. Also economic statusor political status of places were were at. Extremely useful!

Travel in groups. Don't have that tourist "target" on your back
