Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The courses and professors were very interesting, but they were not work heavy courses. They allowed me to accomplish my schoolwork and explore all of the cities.

* Host Country Program Administration

* Housing:

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We moved around so much, but Hugo did the best to help us learn about the cultures.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I was a student with Forum-Nexus this summer. It was one of the best experiences that I have ever had. I visited so many great and famous cities, all while gaining transfer credit at the University of Michigan. Although the places were incredible, the people were even better. I have so many lasting memories from this program and many new friends from all over the United States and the world.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It is all dependent on the location. Spain, Italy, and Greece were all pretty inexpensive, but Switzerland was ridiculously expensive.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 300
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Find some grocery stores and eat lunch in the room and go out to eat once per day.
