This experience was one that I will never forget, it was during a time of my life that I was open to reflecting on where I have been and where I hope to find myself. It followed St Louise de Marillac and St. Vincent de Paul and their lives, we were able to see how small actions can leave a major mark on the lives of others.

This is a program that was offered to graduating seniors and it was the beginning to a semester length course that is now taking place in NY. |

The on site staff was with us for the nine days that we were in Paris, they were the ones that were leading the group of 34 students and the University Provost/ course Professor throughout Paris and the countryside. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I had already had experienced the housing accommodations on our Paris campus and I like them. You are living in one of the best parts of Pairs, it is also a central location to all the sites that one would want to see while there. |

The chefs that prepare your meals on campus are great, they always have a diverse meal. The food tends to be traditions french food but there are times that they try to make you feel more at home with some american dishes. But we willing to try something new. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
During this program it was designed to help trace the footsteps of two of the Saints that the University holds close to it . In following the path of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac we were able to see how their lives left a mark on all that they came in contact with. We were also able to see that we too are able to model our lives in a way that those that we meet and interact with in live could also be touched. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

I know from experience that health issues are addressed by the on site staff with full support and anything that you need. Safety is something that St. John's is serious about no matter what campus you are on. They make sure that they do everything in their power to keep students as safe as possible. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | This program is geared toward graduating seniors, the students that took part in this program were students that applied for not only the program but also the class that followed. We were a group of 34 students that came from every aspect of the university, you were not guaranteed to know someone that was chosen to participate but it seemed that we were all within 6 degrees of separation with those who did participate. We started off our course in Paris and we are now finishing it up in NY. The student that would benefit the most from this program would be the one who want to see how every aspect of their college career plays into their future. |
