Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Much more reading than what we are used to at Wartburg, at least for the classes that I was a member of. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Communicated well. One must look past the "shortness" of communication. The administrators were very busy, and did not intend to be rude in verbal and written communication. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Being with w host family was the best part of the program! They took me into their family and treated me like their own son. |
* Food: |
Had very traditional German and Austrian dishes in my home. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Week long excursion to a different part of Europe was quite fun. My semester we went to Poland. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Berlin is very safe! The climate is comparable to small town, Midwestern US. Much safer than our big cities here in the US. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
