Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
work is decent, but I just wish all the professors know some english so if there is sometimes we don't understand they can explain it in english. some of the courses were so boring. like history of pottery class. Making pottery is one thing, but talking about it in Chinese is just plain boring and hard to understand. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
the difficulty was decent, but some classes they made us take were really boring and hard to understand. i wish they could let us take more interesting classes instead |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
building 16 room 202C

it was nice but alittle expensive |
* Food: |
eating out for three meals for a whole month took a huge chunk of money, even if it's relatively cheap when converted to dollars. but it adds up. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I only saw binghamton students throughout the whole program . |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
too much smoking everywhere. and a high chance of being robbed |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 1000 yuan. i need alot of money because I like to go shopping alot. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | not much really. if you don't plan on buying alot of things here then you don't need to bring much. Just don't buy brand things here because america is cheaper when it comes to that. |
Language
* Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
Language acquisition improvement? |
i learned alot of new vocabularies |
Direct Enrollment/Exchange
* Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? | Direct Enrollment |
