I loved my experiences and the people I was with. The culture and people are so vibrant! It has definitely made me think about the Peace Corps more intensely, I am also possibly thinking about becoming a foreign service officer :)

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
We were in class with our roommates so it you knew everyone in your class. It was easier to study because we would have study sessions together and what not. The classes themselves were great! I learned a lot about the culture and development of the country! |

The administration went well! I am not going to lie to you and say that everything went smoothly all the time however, for the countries stereotypical delays the administration did pretty good! :) |

The food was wierd at first but you did get used to it after awhile! my favorite was Red Red :) |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
We went to Cape Coast, Kumasi, and the Volta Region. They were all memorable in there own right! I loved It! |

The city was safe and where we lived was safe as well! we has 24hour security at our house which made us feel dafer |

Most people did speak English, we did however learn Twi one of the local languages to speak with the local peoples |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | my advice is to do it all! and value the connections you make with the locals because that will make your experience life changing! Any adventurous or people that want to discover what they are really made out of should take advantage of this opportunity! |
