Individual programs available to non-UO students include:

Intensive Chinese Language and Culture in Harbin: By participating in this eight-week program, you will be able to rapidly increase your language proficiency in Mandarin and complete one full year of Chinese language credits. In addition, you will be actively engaged in the local community through housing with Chinese nationals, service learning, excursions, and other activities. You will be enrolled in specially arranged classes at the Harbin Institute of Technology, and a University of Oregon faculty member will also be on-site to provide support and academic guidance. The program is designed for students with at least one prior year of college-level Chinese language (or the equivalent) and is also appropriate for advanced Chinese language speakers.
