GEO: Oviedo - Study Abroad Programs in Oviedo
My study abroad experience in Oviedo was absolutely worthwhile. It was a great place to study. There aren't very many people who speak English in the city, minus the students, so you will learn and practice your language every time you step out of your door. Many of the professors are good and are willing to help you if you have any questions. I understand myself better after completing this program. On a side note Carmen, and Reme are a great support system, and are wonderful people. I recommend the program.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
What I didn't like about the grading system in Spain was that much of your grade was on how you appeared to look like you were working in class, and how nice you were to the teachers. The course load was moderate. Overall I was pleased with the amount of knowledge I gained. |

My housing was excellent, my host parents were wonderful and I had a great room! Oviedo is a very safe town. |

The food is different in green Spain, but overall it is good. There are alot of places where you can get tapas. The host families provide so much food and cook for you its great! |
