GEO: Vienna - Study Abroad Programs in Vienna
Really learning about another culture from the people that live there changed my perspective forever. I truly love Vienna as a home and can't wait to return one day.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I thought the work load was perfect. I learned so much in my weeks abroad without even realizing how much I was actually learning. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I felt that the administration was sloppy and unorganized. On multiple occasions we were given false information and it was really frustrating. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The best part of my entire experience was the time i spent with my host family. |
* Food: |
The food was good but I ate a lot of cheap food because eating out is expensive and food wasn't provided in our program. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I got most of my cultural experience with my host family. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I didn't encounter any health problems. As for safety, Vienna was extremely safe to walk around day and night. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I would urge the student to realize that it is a small program and that they will not meet a ton of people while over there. However, I would consider the most self-building experience I have had and probably will ever have. |
