Starting to see the world for what it is and less of just the american life. Now i have little fear of traveling. It was quite worthwhile.

help from head of the department but the international department was very busy. |

lucky to get housing by getting in touch with the international office quick but if not it would have been very hard to find a place to stay. |

yess they have great food in amsterdam, and the canteen food at school is years ahead of chartwells. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
amsterdam is so international that its hard not to fit in. of course there are times when people speak dutch but you just have to get used to that. socialy i fit in great with my department so all was good. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
i had problems getting my medicine but i never asked the school for help, it was just trouble with customs and the hospitals. |

i feel very safe and know where not to go and when. |
