What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I think this experience was completely worthwhile. I gained insight into what a day in the life of the consulting industry looked like, and got assigned tasks that really helped me develop and strengthen my business skills. I think this experience will set me apart in my job hunt!

Global always made sure everything was going okay. I knew some friends who starting working at their internships and it turned out to not be what they expected, the team at Global helped relocate them to an internship they would be able to develop further at. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had good experiences during our time abroad!

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Learning the language helps a lot throughout the course of your internship. Even basic beginner phrase go a long way! Start prior to leaving and you won't regret it!

  • Air conditioning at place of work/apartment
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have known I wouldn't have AC access at my apartment or my place of work. I would have brought different clothes. Also, I wish I had started learning the language a bit prior to leaving; even just a little bit goes a long way!
