If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

I definitely paid for a large portion of an experience I wasn't hoping to have to pay for. I could have saved $2000 or even $1500 if I had the option to opt out of the weekend trips, which would've prevented me from having to take out a loan. It's really silly because I could've gotten the same experience (and from what I've seen, better) from this program in a med school setting that treated it much more seriously with another program. I'd rather spend the money spent on the weekend trips I didn't go to for other inclusive experiences that would actually be useful and applicable for my med school experience.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • My professors
  • Making the few good friends I did
  • Learning the medical skills
* What could be improved?
  • More accurate program description on the website
  • More opportunities for premed students
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I really wish that my program were more descriptive. I took a very basic anatomy course that I feel shouldn't be necessary to go over as it should be basic knowledge at that point; with the exception of learning clinical skills, which were taught very well by Dr. Paul and Chad. I feel that Management of Care was appropriate. Savoula really made the points she was trying to get across to us impactful as future healthcare professionals.
