Physical Computing |
Course Department: | Computing |
Instructor: | Saskia Freeke |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | I absolutely loved this course!! It was so valuable, interesting, informative, and creative. I learned how to code for microprocessors which were then responsible for powering and running electronic circuits I built. I also learned how to solder, use a laser cutter, and use a 3D printer. I cannot describe how much I learned from this awesome course! |
Credit Transfer Issues: | Not sure yet. I don't think I'll have any issues. I was told I will get a Computer Science elective credit from my home institution for this course. |

Music Computing 2: Generatvie Processes and Techniques in Music Composition |
Course Department: | Music Computing |
Instructor: | Daniel James Ross |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | This course was very challenging, informative, valuable, and rewarding. The teacher was knowledgeable in the material. I participated the same as I would at my home institution. We were assessed by writing our own software programs for generative and stochastic music compositions. |

Songwriting |
Course Department: | Music |
Instructor: | James Ewers |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | Loved this course! Learned SO much about songwriting and ways to become a better worker of writing songs as opposed to waiting around for inspiration to hit. The teachers were all knowledgeable in songwriting. I participated a lot in the class -- there were workshops every other week where we had to prepare and sing our own songs. Assessed by paper, recordings of original songs, and performances of original songs. |
Credit Transfer Issues: | Hopefully not. Still unsure. |

London World's Music Capital |
Course Department: | Music |
Instructor: | Malcolm Miller |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | Went to a concert in London every week sponsored by the music department. Very interesting and cool. Good amount of writing for huge journal and final huge papers. Also final presentation. Class and schedule was a bit disorganized which made it hard to plan out the week because we often did not know when we would be attending concerts. |
Credit Transfer Issues: | I don't think so...still unsure. |
