Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

ok

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Lived in Halifax-too far away from central university.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

September trip to London with Professor Shaw was amazing! Play at the Globe Theatre was a great experience. Individual trips to London afterwards were also fantastic. West End theatre a must.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Nice having the NHS. I got tonsillitus near the end of my trip and went to two NHS clinics-one in York and one in London. Hamline needs to include how to get to the NHS clinics in their orientation. Little difficult in finding.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Train tickets are very costly. As are bus fares.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
