Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Classes were mostly interesting, but really easy

Awful. No one ever has any idea of what is going on or where or when to get or give money or anything. Useless

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The rooms were nice, but only americans live there

* Food:

on site food was expensive and not very good

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Basically 0 effort put in to helping us meet Israelis and palestinians. We were basically relegated to hanging out with americans on the programs or israelis we met at bars

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Guards rarely if ever check ids going into dorms

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? have a lot of money so you can do alot of stuff

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

the language class was required for the general program, but not for any other program. it was a huge amount of time commitment, but when you try to speak hebrew to others in israel they just respond in english
