There was the option to take classes through the University of Heidelberg, but also through several other organizations that were for foreign students. |

One of the issues that I had was that there was no internet where I lived, however, I was the only person on my program that experienced that. |

There were several dining halls that were a part of the university that were very reasonably priced and had good food. |

Oktoberfest was easy to get to, as well as local festivals. |
