What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes it was worthwhile. I learned how to be more self-sufficient and to be unafraid to seek out opportunities wherever they are.

I had the exact academic experience that I hoped it would be, which enabled me to concentrate on my specific areas of interest and demonstrated to me that I love this work and aim to pursue it as far as I can.

  • I'm not sure - I recognize that this isn't helpful but I don't have an immediate answer
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew that it can be quite difficult to attempt to study a new subject in the first term, as it likely requires much self-teaching, and probably should be avoided.

The Academic or Linguist
You went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you!
