Dorms were a 15-20 minute walk from campus but close to other activities like the boathouse for rowing practice. Rooms were cozy although they can get very cold |

The food is decent, but English food isn’t winning any awards |

People were extremely kind and welcoming. There are many opportunities to get involved in societies, sports, and local college events |

Yes
Oxford University is an amazing place with some of the best academic opportunities in the world. The Hertford Visiting Student program puts you in the geographic center of Oxford in an extremely welcoming environment. It is easy to integrate into the University and join a variety of clubs and societies, as well as travel throughout the UK and Europe. Spending a year at Oxford is definitely a must-do. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | The tutorial system can be tricky to navigate and explain and it took a bit to get a handle on, so I wish I had better knowledge of it before going into Oxford. |
