Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Good school, just getting started so a difference from UT in terms of institutional resources and name in the community/internationally. The academic rigor was less in terms of workload but about equivalent in terms of quality of work expected.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Administration very helpful in terms of completing city registration and giving information and support on necessary paperwork. However, grades are due at different times and processed slowly.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

All students secure their own housing but there are student groups you can use for assistance.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

The school brought a representative from a health care company to Hertie to enroll interested students.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Berlin is really affordable, housing is cheap and so is food.
