Study Abroad London Past Review

Hollins University: London - Summer Internship
Study abroad is worthwhile, CAPA was not.
Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The CAPA class was a complete joke. The professor was obviously half-assing it the whole time, he even left for half the program. More than half of our class just didn't show up because the class was so worthless. However, the Contemporary Britain class was really great. I didn't really think it was academically rigorous but the professor was cool and we had fun talking with him. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
My internship in London was terrible and I when I tried to switch to a different one I was met with condescending and patronizing CAPA staff who did not take my concerns seriously at first. They eventually switched me but I wasted half of my time there arguing with the people at CAPA or walking my boss' dog at my internship. |
